Wow! Our YMC staff presented some GREAT information today on Summer Safety!
Special thanks to Dr. Scott Kindle, Dermatology, who shared invaluable information on sun damage to skin, skin cancer, sun screen, and preventative measures to stay healthy.
Taylor Lofink, PA-C and Sarah Arens, PA-C representing the ConvenientCare spoke about common illnesses and injuries they see in the ConvenientCare during the Summer, how to treat them before coming to ConvenientCare to prevent further injury, and also announced ConvenientCare will be extending their hours beginning July 1st by one hour every day of the week! Perfect for Summer when we all tend to stay out later and enjoy activities longer.
Finally, Kristal Vogt, Occupational Medicine with YMC, shared first aid basic necessities to have in your first aid kit and how to properly use those items.
